Charlie Knight is a full-time editor of fiction and non-fiction books, anthologies, short stories, novellas, graphic novels, comics, video games, and RPGs. They have more than a decade of professional editing experience, a degree in English Language & Literature from Penn State University (We Are!), and have completed professional editing certifications/courses at University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, and Oxford University. They are a member of ACES and EFA.

They are trans nonbinary, queer, and disabled and do their best to uplift those communities, build inclusivity from within, and protect marginalized voices. A science fiction, fantasy, science fantasy, and fanfiction author, a gamer, and a lover of all things related to space and monsters, Charlie is a proud nerd and even more proud of the nerdy kid they’re raising. A Philadelphian living in the southwest, Charlie loves the sun but continues to be confused by how nice everyone is in the desert. Their ongoing hyperfixations include all things BioWare, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and whatever their kid happens to be into at the moment (it’s dinosaurs, always dinosaurs).

Charlie is available for digital conferences and interviews or post-pandemic travel (dependent on location and vaccination standards). They are open to talks, Q&As, and presentations on subjects including queer and disability representation in fiction and gaming, editing for self-published authors, social media brand development. Their career goals center around video game writing and/or editing.
